Whenever I heat up spaghetti in the microwave, I end up with droplets of the sauce splattered all over. Should I cover it, and if so, with what?

Warm it up in a bowl and use saran wrap with a hole poked in the middle or a napkin.
If you warm it up on a plate, the saran wrap will melt to the spaghetti and the napkin will cook into it.
You never want the cover to touch the food, just cover the bowl and have a vent hole with saran wrap.

I don't like using plastic wrap in the microwave, so I use cheap paper plate to cover a bowl or plate. Coffee filters work well, too.

I cover everything with a paper towel. Also easy way to clean it-bowl of water and tbsp of lemon juice. Heat for one minute and wipe the inside.

Personally...I think the saran wrap would melt in your microwave.I usually just use a paper towel..That works good for me or a microwavable lid place loosely on the plate.

I place the sauce in a bowl and then place the bowl into a gallon size ziploc bag. DO NOT close the bag.
Heat the sauce.
Remove the bowl from the microwave.
Remove the bag from around the bowl and discard the bag.
Works every time.
