Why are you letting a 10 month old puppy breed?

Has she been in heat? Did she mate with a male dog?

If no:
Many Rottweilers do not go into heat for the first time until they are 9-10 months old.
False pregnancies and heat cycle problems are extremely common in Rottweilers. Some never come into heat. Some go into a false pregnancy instead of a heat cycle.

If your dog has not been in heat and bred by a male but is developing enlarged teats and milk, she needs to be seen by a vet. This dog should be spayed.

If you have bred this dog, shame on you. Since you don't say when you did this; 58-63 days after mating she will deliver pups. In the meantime, don't have her vaccinated, feed her puppy food - all she wants and give her dog vitamins, and talk to a vet about what to worm her with and when. Make sure she is keep clean and dry. Make sure your pups get the proper vaccines (Rottweilers are especially suspectable to Parvo Virus) and worm them every 2 weeks from the 2nd week on. Find a wonderful home for each and every pup. Run newspaper ads. Screen perspective owners well. Get your dog spayed.

If she has "gotten stuck" together with another dog then she is pregnant. Other than that, you need to take her to the vet. 10 months old is really way too young for her to be getting pregnant, she isn't even close to being done growing, yet. A dog should not be in a situation to where this could be a problem until she is at least one and a half years old.

Nipples would start to drop, some tenderness around the tummy. Also if you know the last time she got hung up count 62 to 63 days and that is when she will have her puppys.

If she is, it is dangerous for your dog to be pregnant that young, while she is still a developing puppy herself. Take her to the vet and get her spayed.

you should probably consult your veterinarian because i don't think it's healthy for a dog under a year old to be breeding already.

to find out if she's pregnant, you can read the forum posted on the following site:

you really should wait till shes two years old and her full size. but if she is her nipples will start to grow and so will her belly. once the puppys are big enough you can actually feel them moving around.
