Mashed Potatoes!!!! Hmmm Hmmm goood.

Cheese soup is good.

A guy at work has been living off of Ensure drinks and ice cream for the past 6 mos because he at a shrimp that still had some shell in it, and it tore his esophogus. Hasn't had solid food since.

pudding, jello, soup, instant mashed taters. Try soft serve icecream. The cold helps with the ache.
I feel for you. I have been there and it hurts just to think about it. It will begin to feel better in a week or so. Then it will hurt when ever you get them adjusted. Hang in there. It's worth it in the long run.

When i first go my braces the first thing i ate was ice cream. Applesauce works well too. My brother ate pudding, and a little while after some noodles.
