I go to Church in order to have fellowship with other Christians and to sing songs, and to hear the Word of God.
My wife just punched me.
She says I should also mention that I'm a Pastor.

I go to church because it is where i receive instruction on how to live my life and encouragement for all things. Sometimes you may hear just the thing you were needing to hear, just "One Word" from God can change your life. I believe coming together with other believers bring us closer to God because "where 2 or more are gathered in his name" so he is also. It's a great place to praise and worship with song and dance too.

I go to church because I love God and he loves me. I want to grow closer and become a stronger Christian. The Bible tells us Faith cometh by hearing and hearing the Word of God so I go to church to hear his word and to worship with other believers.

EVERYTHING!!! But you do not have to go to church to be close to God and all that, he asks to help people and love, forget, forgive, share, make the right choices, do not lie and help ETC. They Bible has complete works but common sense can even help you decide and by talking with him and thanking him be thankful for what you have and help they less fortunate, going to church is just a part! Good luck and God bless!

I don't go to church. I believe that every place is a place of worship if I want it to be.
No one should go to church just to make someone happy, especially if it makes the first person unhappy. You are the one that has to deal with going, not them.

I go so that I know at least once a week I"m spending time with God. It's easy to get distracted through the week and forget to pray or meditate.
