many things taken for granted couldn't be done the way we do them if our structur were different. an quik example, walking is simple, right? wrong. it is a very complex action of hundreds of individual actions taken place one after the other to move the leg from the groud in one place to another piece of ground just a few inches away. muscles tendons bones nerves etc all are used in a precise format to take a single step. I think you get the idea.

Very important. If I understand your question you want to know if the way our body is designed determines how we react to situations. I would say yes. If our arms were located one in front and one in back we would react totally different than we react now.
