I need help on this one. I have met a great guy and I love him to death! The bad thing is he lives in another state. I have been with him four about fours months but it feels so bad lieing to my perents about him. I know that my perents would kill me if I told them and I would never talk to him again! I cant have that! I cant sleep at night thinking about him and what I should do. He is the sweetest guy I have ever met and would hate to give him up. So how do I get through this without loseing the trust of my parents or my boyfriend?

Well I hope you didn't meet him over the net cause if yolu dd well I'd advise you to try dating around in your area! If you've actually met the guy then thats a little better but..long distance relationships don't really ever work out! Sorry but its true! Also 4months is really not that long at all..just slow down and don't do anything drastic.......Time will tell all! Also Guys come and go but your parents are your parents..they've always got your back!

Hey I feel for you. I haven't figured that out either. I'm going to meet him eventually too, but I have no idea how to inform my parents. They're really paranoid someone I met on the internet is going to stalk me. I can only say, if you're old enough, like in college, just go out with him. Your parent's say shouldn't be ruling you. It shouldn't be a matter of trust with your parents, because they should understand you enough to accept who you love and what you want to do. Good luck.

If he lives in another state I don't see why you are so worried about your parents right now. I am not your parent so it would be hard for me to say what they would think about you liking this boy. Or if its okay to write or call him. You don't say how old you are and perhaps your age has something to do with your parents not wanting you to be serious about a boy yet. But the best is whether you like your parents answer or not to write or call this boy is to talk to them and see how they really feel about it.

well my first question to you is have you met him in person or on the internet. honesty is always the best policy, and if you are under 18 trust your parents and listen to them. i know they dont want to see you get hurt and there is always someone local who i am sure you could feel the same way about given the chance....good luck

dont tell ur parents until u feel like they would be a lright wit him. when u feel dat way then tell ur parents dat u really luv him and i cant go on w/o thinkin bout him they should understand its luv (play the song LOVE by Keyshia Cole)

how old are you?
if your like over 18 years old then you should tell your parents about him. tell them that you are serious about him and you care for him and you want someone to care for you back.
but if your younger then 18 then you should just let him go. or if you want, continue your long distance relationship but keep it to a low.
what am i saying????? never mind. chose between him and your parents. who will take care of you til death? who will love you til death? who will support you and care for you til death?

well first of all its really up to u. u can not tell ur parents and stay with ur guy or u can tell ur parents and lose ur guy. if u really do "love" that guy and u think u really do wanna keep him, then stay with him. what i would do is stay with that guy and see wut happens. its not much of a big thing if u don't tell ur parents, only if u are really doing sumthin bad with that guy then u should tell ur parents.
