I know you're not supposed to bathe dogs more than 2 a month, so I was just wondering what I could do to keep her smelling good. She plays outside alot so she not entirely an inside dog. We're gone most of the day so instead of locking her in a kennel all day, I let her outside. But don't worry, she's not alone, I have another dog outside to keep her company. So that leaves her smelling.

I would think it would be safe to use, but knowing my puppy, she would lick it off her.
Instead of baby powder, I bathe her regularly. I read on peteducation.com (a division of Fosters and Smith) that it is safe to bathe a dog weekly if you use the right kind of shampoo.
When my puppy comes in from her walk, and she is not smelling too fresh, I will wipe her off with Baby Wipes. They are simple to use, relatively inexpensive and they remove surface dirt (especially on her paws) and leave her smelling very nice!!
I looked at the special wipes they have at the pet store, but opted for baby wipes since they both had the baby fresh scent, yet the baby wipes were much less expensive!!
Hope this helps!

I have honestly certainly not tried it. I would not are attempting it, although. You stated you obtained the sprays? What in regards to the wipes? They promote dog wipes that resemble genuine little one wipes. The only challenge i've about baby powder is the genuine powder. Sure, it's reliable for toddlers. However, mom and dad are even warned not to over do it. The talc from the powder can get into the babies touchy lungs (from inhalation) and irritate them. I would not be amazed, although. Due to the fact the powder is made for babies, no longer puppies, it'll irritate them. I am now not sure about cornstarch. Plus, there is the fragrances in child powder that can irritate a puppies dermis. What works for some puppies won't work for yours. I would say to only get some of your canine shampoo and lather it up on a towel. Rub it over their our bodies. Then rinse the towel out and rub it over their our bodies. That method, it's going to rid probably the most free grime. It is not going to get them easy, but expectantly smelling a bit of higher. Above all with their sweaty elements like underarms and genitals.

I surely have surely under no circumstances tried it. i does no longer attempt it, although. you stated you purchased the sprays? what about the wipes? they promote dogs wipes that resemble quite infant wipes. the only situation I surely have about infant powder is the quite powder. certain, it is secure for children. yet, mum and dad are even warned no longer to over do it. the talc from the powder can get into the children smooth lungs (from inhalation) and worsen them. i does no longer be stunned, although. because the powder is made for children, no longer dogs, it ought to worsen them. i'm no longer certain about cornstarch. plus, there is the fragrances in infant powder that could worsen a dogs pores and skin. what works for some dogs received't artwork for yours. i'd say to easily get a number of your dogs shampoo and lather it up on a towel. rub it over their bodies. then rinse the towel out and rub it over their bodies. that way, it will rid countless the free airborne dirt and dirt. it received't get them sparkling, yet optimistically smelling somewhat extra proper. rather with their sweaty factors like underarms and genitals.

No, in between washings freshen the coat with baking soda to take out the "doggy" smell. Or buy the bath wipes available in the stores for dogs.

It's perfectly fine. We used to give our dog a bath and then after she was dry we would sprinkle a little baby powder on her.

If the baby powder has talc as an ingredient it is not even safe for babies. Talc is a carcinogen. They sell wipes (similar to baby butt wipes) for freshening your dog.

as long as she does not breathe in the powder then it should not hurt her, just make sure that she don't chew and lick it off. If she does this then I would not use it.

I would think so. It's safe and non-toxic for newborn babies.
