Clothes are always great. Redo her room maybe a little on the teen side or a cellphone(something pre -paid live virgin or boost) With the understanding she needs to earn the money for future phone cards. Great way to teach the value of a dollar.

Parties don't necessarily need a theme. Especially when at 14, people can't decide if it's cool or lame. Find a hall to accommodate the guest list, rent some disco lights, hire a DJ, a few decorations and serve some food. You can organize a few games as well.

Teenage girls are so easy to buy for !! lol....she sounds like she's got everything a kid could want. What about a nice lunch with you and her and her dad, and a day shopping for a new outfit for when school gets back in. Let her invite a friend.
Be a good Step mom K. I dont know if you already have kids of your own but accept the differences in your new extended family.

Okay if she is girly get her um... abercrombie and fitch gift cards hollister gift cards american eagle giftcards stuff like that..if she is punk get ehr hot topic gift cards or go get ehr a couple cd's or um...yea but i would say mostly gift cards... ooo since you said she has an ipod get her an itunes gift card
