You know I dated a guy who had no feet.....I met him over the phone some years ago.....we talked for days and even hours and he never told me, he had no feet....
When we met, boy was I in for a shock....he had no feet and crawls around with his stubs and yes it's enough to freak anyone out...because this is something that you're not expecting.
I would be interested in knowing if this is the same guy....if it is he's a really great guy.....This guy is black and lived in Michigan at one point and time in his life.
Sure you can love him....when we say love we're supposed to love people unconditionally. Right?

If you're really in love with him, you'll be able to deal with it.
Having said that, I would have thought if the two of you were in love he would have told you about this already - not along the lines of "sorry, but..." but as something he feels compelled to tell you about now that you're in love. (I could understand him being hesitant at first, since it could put potential partners off)
I am worried you're being a little freaked by the image though "I don't know if I could be with a guy with no feet" - in the big picture our feet mean so little.
babyshay, you have valid concerns to some extent but READ the question! She HAS met him! Sheesh!

man, I don't know what to tell you. you need to ask yourself how you really feel about him before you found out he was missing feet. if you still have feelings for him and think you can look past his handicap then by all mean give the relationship a try but, if you think you can't then let him go so he can find someone who'll accept him just the way he is.

Love is unconditional. If you have doubts then you don't love him. Only someone that is shallow would let that be a reason to keep them from someone that they love. Ask yourself this question, if I had met him when he had two feet and was otherwise perfect (at least in my eyes), would I leave him because he lost his legs, feet, arms or whatever and is no longer perfect (in my eyes)?
Beauty is only skin deep. Don't pass up on love because of your own insecurities. You either love him or you don't.

That's a pretty big omission on his part. I mean, having to *ask* whether a person has feet isn't exactly normal. You can try to love him as he is, or you can level the relationship to a friendship only.

Well, if you really love him, what does it matter? If something like that will keep you from being with him, then you have a problem with the relationship that will never go away...
