Paint the smallest thing you can imagine. Then the biggest thing you can imagine. Then paint how the smallest thing you can imagine sees the biggest thing you imagined.

Is there too much chaos in the world, or in your head? Try to paint what you feel- but more descriptively, paint the words that make life chaotic. Take a song you really feel represents you or society today, for example, read a headline that inspires a particular type of music, and try to create an image not using lines, but those lyrics instead. Words can make beautiful poetry, but they also make amazing imagery.

define chaos on your canvas. in your particular style just let the brush move with your hand guiding it. sometimes for most artist we get blocks based on the pressures of trying to make something. when some of our best stuff comes by accident. as a writer, i get major blocks when i concentrate on a story. which is why--- among other things like this--- i write another story concurrently. the fact that i'm writing generates ideas that i wouldn't have found moping on the fact that i can't create at all... so just let that brush move and don't put pressure on yourself about making something... just make something.

Black.... the world is chaotic today, like black paint spattered on an pure white canvas. Black Chaos. Chaos never goes away, no matter how u erase it, like a black stain, it just becomes part of history like the stain that has faded away, yet its remnance is still there....
Try Black, you'll probably feel better....

Take a walk and look for things you would usually ignore. Take a train or bus ride and try to imagine what others are thinking. Look through photo albums or coffee table picture books. Listen to some music you like. Search for a perfect poem. Pet your cat or dog, or talk to a neighbor about insignificant things. Get in a better mood!

Try to depict on the canvas what the chaos does to your mind. Seriously.

Draw a nice looking gentelman in a black suit sitting in a tall chair, legs crossed. All in him expresses elegance. He is not proud, he is just natural.
If you don0t know what kind of face to paint just tell me and I'll send you my picture. Then you can send the painting to me :)

I'm looking at a gorgeous print of a woman in pink, sitting on
her front porch bannister overlooking her backyard with the
lake & mountains visible through the clearing.
Imagine that lady was you- Paint yourself sitting on a porch
rail, decked out in your favorite soothing color and imagine
a very tranquil, Spring yard. - Maybe through the clearing you'd
see dunes & then the ocean.....
I'm putting myself to sleep.
You might look back at the picture one day and find it to
be very soothing.
Good luck.

A BEAUTIFUL, WILD HORSE REARING ON TWO LEGS, POINTING IN THE DIRECTION OF THE EARLY MORNING SUNRISE. HE'S CONVEYING JOY FOR ANOTHER BLESSED
DAY. THIS SET IN A MAGICAL FOREST, WITH WHITE COTTON-TAILED BUNNIES, BUSHY- TAIL SQUIRRELS RUNNING UP TREES WITH THEIR CHEEKS PUFFED OUT WITH ACORNS. A SPARKLING, BUBBLY BROOK WHERE DEER ARE QUENCHING THEIR NIGHTS THIRST,WHILE WATCHING THE ANTICS OF FLUFFY LITTLE CHICKS BEING SCOLDED BY THEIR MOMMA. SINGING TREE FROGS, CHIRPING BABY BIRDS, AND OTHER CREATURES STARTING THE DAY. WITH AN ANCIENT, WISE TREE THAT HARBORS, AND PROTECTS THE MANY FAIRIES THAT DWELL WITHIN. HAVING CLINGING VINES THAT GROW ON THE GNARLED AND OVER-HANGING BRANCHES. AND ALL THE MANY COLORFUL PLANTS AND FLOWERS OPENING THEIR PETALS TO THE TASTE OF MORNING DEW, EVER WATCHFUL OF THE BEES AND BUTTERFLIES TO MAKE
THEIR DAILY ROUNDS. DRIFTING CLOUDS IN THE HAZY MORNING LIGHT, AND SOARING BIRDS IN HAPPY FLIGHT.
ALL AROUND THIS LOVELY PLACE IS THE KEY TO
JOY, FUN , PEACE AND LOVE.
