That is a good question, and it's one you need to carefully consider.
On a spiritual level, love is without measure, so what you freely give, you will get back.
But in a bad relationship, or a case like unrequited love, what you are sending out is clearly not being received or returned, and that really hurts. You feel drained and alone.
What you need to carefully consider is this: Knowing that your feelings and love will not be returned, how long will you be willing to freely give, without a return?
Only you can answer your question. For me, I realized that even if I'm only a friend, and my love will not be returned as I wish, I value her friendship and company enough to stay the course. But that's me, and you may feel different.

As painful as it may sound you don't!! Why would you want to put yourself through loving someone who doesn't love you, puting your heart and soul into someone that doesn't feel the same and want to do the same for you? I know it sucks but you need to love yourself enough to know that you are worth it to that someone special. Good Luck!

i really dont know but i love someone who doesnt love me back in fact he has moved on its now been a year and he is proposing to his g/f soon =( i guess true feelings of love never go away
