Buy a used Honda CR-V or Toyota RAV-4. Both are excellent in snow (all wheel drive versions) and can be purchased cheap. They are much better choices than the Jeep you keep asking about.

A used subaru. They are all wheel drive and you can come by the used ones pretty cheap.

an old blazer or a bronco...one from when they where still big SUV..id go for an old blazer and but tires with a really aggressive tread pattern
