You can always have a small shadow box made, and then in the background of that, take and copy off a copy of the rainbow bridge and place it on the back of the box. Then take and fix her collar and leash and her favorite toy to the inside of the box and then put a glass over that. That is what I do for my dogs. You can add pictures of her too if you have any that you like....
sorry to hear about your dog

My parents made up a wall in the house to represent each of the past dogs. I guess to show respect. At first I thought it was a bit morbid but when people came over they thought it was great. You may not be at this point yet but maybe later. I put my dog's earn on a mantel, it was supplied by the Vet and I will put a picture with it soon. Sorry for your loss, I personally didn't want to hide the memories.

I couldn't bear to have my babies' things around after they were gone. I threw away their toys, dishes, bankies, etc., but kept their leashes in the box w/their ashes on a shelf w/their pictures & little figurines (Pomeranian, Scotty).

How about a nice tupperware type container. It will keep your pets things clean and dry and you can have easy access if you just want to look at them.

You don't need to put it away. Get a new dog and you won't be sad.
