Preapproved does not mean anything. It is like saying you are preapproved to ask for a credit card but there is no guarantee you will get one. Babies, dead people and animals hav been preapproved (they get your name, email address etc). So we've established that "everyone" is preapproved to apply for their credit card; now you should be able to find the application by clicking on apply. Different cards have different websites so I can't tell you where it is. Be aware, the interest rates are horrible. Here is an example. If you borrow (charge) $100 on a card and you pay the minimum due, say $10. you could owe $110.00 after you pay the $10.00. Most of the time a credit card is only good if you use it for conveneince and plan to pay it off in full! But if you are late.$29.00, go over your limit $29.00 is added. Be carefull.

If you are enrolled in college you will end up on the credit card mailing list. They hope to get a college graduate who will obtain a job to pay for the rest of their life outrageous interest. Your better off without a card.

Get your own (good) credit record. Apply for a card in the normal way.

my advise to you is don't. i have had enough credit cards in my time to realise you don't need one. yes they come in handy for emergencies but youwould be better transferring some money each month into a seperate bank account and use that in case of trouble. the money will be yours and you won't have to pay syupid rates of interest.

They will expect you to pay them to obtain a card, and the rates are really high.

If your preapproved, that does not mean they will accept you, you still need a good credit score.
