Chocolate is bad for dogs in large amounts. Bakers chocolate is REALLY bad. Milk chocolate takes alot to make them sick. The ice cream will not make her sick, there is not enough actual chocolate in it to do anything. She will be fine!

My dog deserves chocolate ice cream may be i should buy some for her. She keeps the kids in order, is burglar alarm, fire alarm, fly and spider catcher, She cuddles me when im down and gets excited when im happy. Shes 9 now and does get a bit funny over her food. In the olden days dogs didnt have tins of food like they have their pal and chum now. They lived of scraps off the table. As long as you dont allow your dog chicken bones a bit of choccie ice cream will do her no harm. They say people chocolate isnt good for dogs which is why they make doggie chocs. She must love choc ice cream which would explain her behaviour. If it still worries you theres a phone No on most doggie food tins 4 advice, or ask a vet.

Unless you buy some extremely expensive Ice cream that has cocoa beans in it there is absolutely no danger. Majority of chocolate does not have enough cocoa in it to create any issue. I had my parents dog devour an entire pound of expensive Bourdea Chocolates and not a single issue, except for me being very angry and wanting to stuff the dog with cotton batting!

3 days later there isn't anything to worry about. Some dogs can actually tolerate chocolate, while some cannot. My dog....very small terrier, once ate a whole bag of Hershey's Kisses...she opened each piece with her delicate precision. I thought she would die, but she just wanted more. Probably not enough real cacao in chocolate ice cream to worry yourself.

It's not the best for them but my dogs have gotten into it and nothing has happened. They shouldnt have milk products.

I had a friend who had a basset hound that ate a whole bag of chocolate chips and was fine.

She is completely fine. It hasn't hurt her. Chocolate ice cream is not necessarily deadly...........unless you feed it to you dog like 50 times a day for a month!

She will be fine. It sounds like you are very careful.. don't worry about her, as if it would hurt, it would have harmed her by now..chocolate icecream isn't very strong chocolate, so don't worry.

My pug was killed by chocolate, so I have studied the problem alot!
A few M & Ms killed my pug. But it sounds like your girl is fine.
