The money goes to the IRS, the illegals can't make any claims because they can't prove the # belongs to them.

Lots of illegals use fake SSN. The SSN doesn't match any real person that is alive, so the money is held up in the social security account, GAO. The persons who got their SSN number stolen can be harm if the illegal use it to claim unemployment, disability, use it to run up credit lines, or use it to claim other government services.

Alot of times these social security Numbers are of the dead. There for when the taxes are taken out, either the people of the company are putting the money into there pockets, or the government is making money off the illegals. So really they are not living for nothing. Alot do. But not all.

Runtoli I saw this woman being interviewd on Lou Dobbs and it was noted her SS# had been used by over 200 hundred illegal aliens and for some she even contacted these illegal aliens and they refuse to comply with her request to stop using it. IS stealing and knowingly stealing a SS# part of the better life too?? I'm just amazed no of these people were jailed and are free to break laws at ramdom

There is a suggestion that Congress is going (I don't know how they can separate it all!) to allow illegals to get tax benefits for money they have paid in using another person's SS#.

The really sad part is that if they had been legal, they would be serving time for fraud.

Once again, the thought is to reward the criminal for the crime.
