I just dated this incredible girl and we had nothing but an awesome time together. She used to date this guy (who was also her first boyfriend) who was controlling and verbally abusive. They broke up about 3-4 times over. Her friends and parents hate him. She would tell me how she hated the things he did and how she couldn't be his friend. Now we've broken up and they're friends, however she isn't dating him nor really hanging out with him. She's basically shut me out of her life, although she really wanted to be friends and still hang out. I still get the feeling she really misses me (she has to!) but we haven't talked in almost 2 weeks (except brief text message).

I just want to do something to get back at her/get her attention/whatever. I know that sounds childish but I want to do something other than miss her because Im sure it's over right? Unless God blesses me or something and she comes running back...

Don't do anything to trick her into coming back. There is a reason she left and she will remember it once the romance fades. The best thing you could do would be to invite her over to your place to watch a movie or something equally harmless....but even that's in doubt.

sorry.

if she's so incredible, what happeend? why did u guys break up? it's possible that she feels that she "doesn't deserve u"...?? considering that she keeps going back to that other guy for some reason, even tho she knows he's bad for her. =T.. some girls have this thing where they feel they can help or change the "bad boy" (hence nice girls being attracted to the bad boy, or nice guys getting short end of the stick)... the problem w/ a girl like that is she doesn't have the mentality that she actually is great and DESERVES a great guy! she feels that if she keeps putting in 110% effort for a guy who needs help, then she will be doing good in the world, or will feel some kind of reward for "helping" him. what she doesnt' realize is that her putting 110% = HIM putting in exact opposite...and the breaking up/getting back together is just bad news, cuz he has all this power over her.

i would say, if you are a good boyfriend, and have done nothing but be good to her and she decided to go away, then there's nothing to be sad about: you're right, if God puts her back in your life, it's cuz she realized you are agreat. nothing but her own self will get her to realize that.. u can't do anything really. just let her know u are there for her and care for her, but u can't do anything if she doesn't choose to be with you and work with you thru the problems. if u made some mistakes, it's ok... as long as you're willing to communicate and work on the relationship, and she is as well...you have so much to gain. if one of u is broken, or gives or takes too much from the other, that adds way too many obstacles and the % that u will stay together lessens.... work on being a confident man, who takes care of yourself and who he's with, and look for a girl who can love herself enough to demand a GOOD guy, not be weak and allow someone to walk all over her.

would continue to work with the text messaging and move up to phone conversations and perhaps eventually hanging out together again. it seems to me that she is confused as to what she wants. if you are interested in getting back with her i think the best thing you can do is be part of her life and be there for her, who knows what can develop from that.

Nothing wrong of missing her. but the more you try , the more she will pull away... just plain totally ignore her for a while ( a little risky ) if she even have a little feeling left for you , she will contact you back. Believe me, she probably went back to her first boyfriend. Didn't matter how bad he treated her.. he is her first!! and girls somehow like bad boy. You need to get tougher.. and it will be OK

when knowing why you 2 broke up would help, she most likely doesnt want to get hurt again, or thats the way her father was or is, and to get her attention, you should show up at her door and tell her how you feel bout that.. he will have to listen to you

hope you figure things out

dude, ANY girl who puts up with abuse is not emotionally available. ...she's got major issues.

with that said, are you a glutton for punishment? ...or what?
you like freeky roller coster rides when it comes to relationships?

go for the ones who will reciprocate in kind, OK?
