If you need a tonsillectomy and it's medically urgent you can have the procedure completed and just feel out a medical hardship form at the hospital that you plan to have the procedure performed. They will ask for proof of income and how many are in your household and etc and then they will inform you of the status and if you qualify for a free procedure or not. Good luck!

I think there is a lot of variability with this question. If you are having them removed by a lazer or other means. If you can establish a payment plan. The hospital you are using. In the source section of my answere is a website where you can get a quote for a tonsellectomy that is determined by where you live.
