I used to be an "Apostolic" many years ago.
I saw people "speak in tongues" and then go out and PARTY like no big deal. I was one of them.
That "anointing" I had was upon my flesh and had not yet taken root in my soul, therefore it was a fleshly affair.
The Bible says that gifts come without repentance and that includes the gift of tongues.
So, I don't believe that "speaking in tongues" is the evidence of the Holy Ghost.
It's the least of all the gifts and if you notice, over in the Original Day of Pentecost, the tongues was when Peter was preaching and everyone understood him in their own language. That was the true tongues in the original.
Where have you seen that lately?
The LIFE is what makes the demons tremble.
A life of holiness and subjection to the Word of God.
And believing all the Word of the hour.
In Martin Luther's time, he had the word of that hour,
"the just shall live by faith" And it was for them.
But we are in a more advanced age now
and the Word is no longer milk but meat.
Baptism in Jesus' Name isn't enough any more either,
The revelation of the WORD has advanced.
.
It's LORD JESUS CHRIST...not just "Jesus "
or "Jesus Christ"
Father had a name called........ ...........Lord
Son had a name called ......................Jesus
and the Holy Ghost Had a name called Christ
But the three are One, I agree with you there.

The Father, Son and Holy Spirit is like the soul, the body and the works in a single person. Jesus Christ is Jehovah God in a visible body according to the Universal Theology of the New Jerusalem by Swedenborg.

Apostollics No. Apostles Yes
I believe in being born again of water and of the Spirit.
ST. John 3:5. I believe you must be baptized according to ACTS 2:38 with the evidence of speaking in tongues. I believe once born again that you lifestyle must change all according to scripture. I believe in only one religion and thats the religion God. Which is HOLINESS by which no man can see God. There can only be one Truth, GOD.
I pray for you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen

I used to be Apostolic. I was a "true Apostolic" for 19 years. Get out while you still can. The Apostolic faith is recognized worldwide as a cult, and only has significance to the few people who are unfortunate enough to be in it. Trust me, God has a better life for you, dear. Run!
