Lately I've been having dreams about the Holocaust. I'm young and I haven't been in the holocaust or anything, nor have my relatives or anyone I know, but I'm having dreams about it. I'm not even Jewish, I'm catholic. They are where I'm hiding and the Nazis always find me. They've been starting to get more modern too. Like the latest one had modern chairs and furniture in it. These dreams really scare me. Why am I having these dreams?

Well in May, my school started studying it. We had to do a report on it and watch a movie on it, but I didn't really think much about it. That was before I had the dreams. I started having them about one or two weeks after we studied it. The dreams have been going on now for about 4 months now. The dreams will not go away! I am still wondering why I'm dreaming about this. Usually when we study about something like this in school, it never takes this much effect on me. And I'm wondering why the surroundings in my dream, such as the furniture, are gradually getting more and more modern in these dreams.

I'm an amateur psychologist, so take this with a lot of lee-way. But it sounds as though you were more affected by the movie and what you learned than you thought. The change toward modern furniture may indicate that you are coming to terms with it, by making it more like real life. It may be that your dreams will become less threatening.

You can go into dreams and change them, and you might try that. Tell yourself just before you go to sleep that you are going to change the Nazi into a cartoon character, or a teddy bear.

Hope this helps!

What are you scared of? Who are you afraid of? The answers to those questions probably will answer your own.

If you think the dreams might actually be holocaust related, I would suggest visiting a holocaust museum or watch a movie about what happened. When I have had recurring dreams before, directly addressing what the dream was about often made the dream go away.

Dreams are a kind of different thing. Sometimes they might come true & sometimes they don't.
What you really need to do is before you go to bed at night read your bible & ask God to take you dreams away. It works I have done it many of times.
Heres the thing sometimes we (very few) can only see into the furture, or what might happen next. God give us that gift. Now you will find some that dont believe in that. I am one that has went through many different things, and God has let me know.
Why yours I am not sure...maybe you will never know. I feel sorry for you in a way cause them are bad dreams, but then again I dont feel sorry for you cause you might know something the rest of us don't.
I wonder why they upgraded to the furniture...LOL...jk..trying to make you smile.
All jokes aside, read youre Bible & Pray to God.
Take Care & God Bless

Well lets answer the question WHY you have dreams first... have you ever sat and wondered? Well thoughts are going trough your mind all the time this is you mental status and consciousness, what you are thinking, when you are asleep they are still there it is what you would think in your consciousness just you are asleep and do not have much control. The pons in your brain are what control the movement - without them you would act out all your dreams! So that is just what is flowing through your mind what you are thinking in other words, sometimes they environment and your surroundings can influence this!

If Israel isn't able to defend itself, there will be another Holocaust. It's unlikely, but you never know, do you? Maybe you're having a dream about the future. That would explain the furniture.

Dreams never can be explained. I had some recently that are similar except they are about world war 2. Try thinking about something completely different. What I always do is pray and ask God to help me not think about it. Like last night, I had a dream about zombies from 28 days later. It freaked me out and I prayed and thought about halloween.

It's a very troubled world. It's possibly a reaction to all the wars and fighting. Then again, maybe you are going completely mad and turning jewish in the process..... oy ve!!!!
