"Are we going to do this or what?'

It took 13 years, but considering it was a month before our youngest was born, I said, "Sure" . . . blame it on pregnancy hormones because otherwise he would have had to do better! LOL

A woman walks into the kitchen which is a complete mess. Dishes aren't clean, floor is dirty, stove has dried food on it and her boyfriend was suppose to clean it up, but like ALWAYS he never does... she's fed up and is about to call the relationship off so she's starts yelling and going off on him and in the midst of her yelling and him taking a bite out of his breakfast toast (which was made in a toaster with jelly spots all over it) he grabs the bread bag twister and holds it up and says, "Will you marry me? I know I can't afford a ring right now, but hopefully this could be a place holder until I can get you a nice ring in a few years."

Walking thru Wal Mart with our infant son.. He looked at me and said, " guess we should get married" I giggled and said.. not without a ring... So we went to the jewlery counter and bought me a wedding set and him a wedding band... that was in '97 and we are still going strong...(oh, I paid for the rings, lol)

The worst wedding proposal I ever heard was "Marry me, bi-atch!" Just kidding.

Tell your fiance that his style of proposal fell short, and that you'd like him to come up with a more creative or romantic style of proposal--or, failing that, the traditional style.

If he says "What difference does it make?", tell him that although we like the gift inside, we also like the gift to be wrapped in pretty paper.

I heard that some people don't even get a proposal. They just assume that they will be married. And even if your boyfriend proposes to you, you want to be with him but not ready for marriage, isn't it so hard to reject it?

A friend's boyfriend handed her a ring and said, "you know what the question is, and I know what the answer is" so let's get married.

Mine was "so, when are we going to get you a ring?" All my girlish fantasies had to be completely readjusted...but we've been married over 18 years, so something must be right. ;-)
