I have a cassette player in my minivan (looks like it's factory) that has the auto-reverse feature. The last few days my cassette player has been rebelling--I pop a tape in, it goes forward briefly, switches to reverse (the auto-reverse) briefly, back and forth a few times; then it ejects the tape. It does this with every tape I've tried. No, it doesn't eat the tape.

Help!

It receives too much tension from the tape and think it the tape end was reached. If it does it to all tapes, the unit needs to be serviced (may be a good idea anyway). If it is just a this tape, the tape has gone bad.

Dirty and or worn-out rollers. It is cheaper to get a new and better unit than to repair. Start looking for sales.

WHATS A CASETTE PLAYER?...YOU SHOULD TRY AN MP3 PALYER ON YOUR CAR OR A CD PLAYER ITS BETTER THAN WAISTING YOUR MONEY FIXING THAT THING.....
