I really like the furniture she has out on her balcony! I like it so much that when I switch it, I'd even let her keep the cushions on mine!
Our apartments are right next to each other; so, she wouldn't think that the furniture is from some weirdo if she recognizes my furniture...she would know that I decided to switch with her because she would also recognize her furniture on my balcony.

Are you sure it's stealing? I don't think it's stealing; it's switching...right?!

You could switch the furniture then the next morning knock on her door and ask why she took your furniture. Tell her it is perfectly fine for you to switch but if she had ask first you would have done the lifting for her.

U r funny & cute...go for it...it's the neighborly thing to do...she will probably be okay with it because she'll realize that you really admire her style. She'll get a real good feeling for you boldly expressing your appreciation of her good taste.
As ANOTHER kind gesture, you should invite her over to have tea, bbq, or breakfast on HER furniture.
Keep up the good work. You sound like a socially conscious fella. Keep reaching out to your fellow human beings! Let me know how this all works out.

Well, if you honestly think she wouldn't mind, why not just ask her? When you see her, tell her that you absolutely love her furniture and taste. Ask her if she could help you find something nice for your own balcony. If she says she likes your furniture, jokingly suggest to trade. See her reaction...But I don't think you should just switch without asking.

Too much trouble to switch the furniture. You should just break into her apartment and change the locks. Then leave a note on her door telling her she is welcome to your apartment. Make sure that you first move all the stuff from your apartment that you like into hers. And if you don't like any of her junk just leave it out in the hall for her.

One Devil's Night, long time ago. A few buddies and I switched the entire neighborhood's lawn ornaments and decorations. We made the local paper. It was so funny we did it again for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

depending on her personality-if she can take a joke-then switch the furniture and totally deny any knowledge of the furniture on her lawn ever being yours. but it'd be funny

Go for it. Oh, by the way, I think I like your car better than mine, and since we are parked pretty close together in the parking lot, you won't mind if I switch, do you? I'd even put the antenna ball on mine...

I wouldn't say it's polite. But if you figure out how to do that, let me know because my neighbor moved and left behind his bbq grill. Difficult part is he's across from me.
