You are right about "Mary and Bob" versus "Mary". Without Bob, you'd have no occasion for a wedding shower. I think Mary would be more touched by seeing her fiance's name paired with hers, than by seeing her name alone, as if it were, say, only her birthday.
However, I think "Mary Smith's Bridal Shower" is better than just "Bridal Shower", since it is, after all, Mary Smith's bridal shower! It could be rendered "Mary Smith @ Bridal Shower", only a flower or floweret instead of the @.

I think that it should say Mary and Bob. Where years ago you only had the soon to be bride to come to the shower it is not uncommon for the soon to be groom to be there to. To keep from hurting any feelings from him or his family I would have his name on them also.
I think it is more personal if you put just Mary on the ribbon. To me it would be more like my friends are giving me the shower than if you put her first and last name on it then is more like going to the doctor and waiting for them to call your name to be seen. Of course I am sure Mary will like anything you all do for her.
I did find a good website that has alot of good information on it from favors to games.
Have a great time at the shower.

I think that Mary & Bob should both be on the candies and I think maybe the ribbons should say something like THE NEW MRS.... whatever his last name is or MARY'S GETTING MARRIED....something cute and quirky.

I think the 2nd one should be "Mary & Bob" you know b/c she is marrying Bob.
2nd thing, I think the ribbons should say "Mary's Bridal Shower".

it is going to in straightforward terms be "Mary and Bob." including the final time is basically too formal. no longer alongside with Bob's call will probable harm her thoughts considering she's so in love with him precise now. he's there in spirit. you will understand via fact she'll point out his call 1000's of circumstances. Ain't new love grand?

mary smith will not longer be mary smith in a few months. it should be mary and bob on everything. how about "I do" or "To have and to hold"
the groom's name shoudl be on something for sure.

How about just having your monogam on it?
Let's say your last name is Smith...it would be "m S b" (better handwriting style of course).
We had a similar problem at our wedding and that's what my husband and I decided to do. Monograms everywhere...lol
