A long time ago I thought that love was something that you reserved for some special set of people that you had judged worthy of it.
After a while I got to thinking about what Jesus had said about turning the other cheek and loving our neighbor I put the two together and realized that he had made no exceptions in these statements. It became obvious to me that he intended that we exclude no one from the love that we are supposed to be giving. I started thinking about my idea of love and suddenly realized that I had not been loving anyone at all. I had simply been judging everyone and every thing.
Judging someone worthy of love is not love, it is only judgment. I actually started to cry when I realized this. I saw just how much of my life I had wasted being judgmental, thinking of myself as a Christian, when I was actually doing just the opposite of what Jesus had asked us to do.
I thought about the verse judge not lest ye be judged, and I understood it for the first time.
I realized that I have a lot of catching up to do. So many opportunities were wasted. I now try to apply the love that I have for the world in a universal way like Jesus asks us to do.
If I start to feel afraid and think that I see someone that I should not love because of something I have thought or heard I try to catch my mistake as soon as possible. I tell myself that I have forgot the truth and have fallen for the same old trick that had cost me so many opportunities to be loving in the past. The horror of this realization is often all that is necessary to bring me back to my senses and make me drop the judgmental nonsense I was thinking.
I still have a lot to learn about love, but at least I’m making progress.

Love is the greatest feeling but as for the greatest gift given, I'd have to say it's trust.

Yes without a doubt the greatest gift given is Love without Love there is nothing all things would cease without love in a sense, because God sent His Son because He loved us so much that he did not want us to perish that is the greatest gift Jesus Christ then he gave his own life so we could live in freedom from death if we choose Him, there is no greater Love than a man lay down his life for his brother. Now to recieve Love you have to give Love and to give Love you have to have Love in your heart and for all this to take place you have to have the Love of God in your heart because GOD IS LOVE , point blank hope this helped take care and Love someone today.

NO, how could that be the answer when GOD gave His only Son for us to live.......So the answer is LIFE. The gift of life is a precious one. It is a fleeting moment and comes only once. HIS blessing of life to us is one to be held in deepest gratefulness every single day. If one can appreciate the gift of life, then the gift of love will follow. Respect for life is a time honored value. Finding love with another to share that life in committment, respect, honor, and fidelity will enhance that gift to the fullest. If only it could happen more than once in a lifetime, it would be the greatest gift from HIM to anyone who is lucky to find it........

Yes.God loved this world so much that He gave His only begotten Son into the hands of death and satan so that we His children can live. When Jesus rose from the dead He had control of them both and they are defeated. That kind of love does not exist in anyone else and it was given to everyone that believes, free of charge. As for peace the is and will never be any until the Judgment day.

Greatest gift is Jesus (and I guess you could say He is synonymous with Peace and Love).

No,I beleive this is incorrect. The greatest gift on earth that is given is life itself. The greatest gift received is also life.Without life then there would be no love.I beleive that god loved us so much that he promised us eternal life.It may not be life as we know it but is I beleive it is much greater.

His love, yes. it pays the mortgage and other things.
as for the love here on earth, the physical act of love has to be one of the greatest assets he has given us. i know this christian enjoys it.

i think of the final one I have been given, which grew to become right into an prolonged time in the past, grew to become into for finished ingredients. i'm not sure which grew to become into the final one I gave. the two the single to my niece for iTunes, or my buddy for $166 Visa card (it grew to become into her 66th birthday, and she or he's very specific).
