How do you feed medicine to a cat?

Cats aren't stupid. They will avoid the food if you try to hide medicine in it. This is how you do it:
Have everything ready and put it on a table next to the chair you're going to sit on. Go get your kitty and put her on your lap and pet her. Hold your arms around her and gently probe your finger into the corner of her mouth so she opens it. Quickly throw that pill or squirt that liquid into the back of her throat. If it is a pill, quickly close her mouth and keep it in your hands until she swallows. Even then, make sure she does not cough up the pill a minute later. Some cats become very skilled hiding then spitting out pills. Be as gentle as possible but firm. Praise her when she has done it.

If it is a powder, mix it in with the cats food. If it is in pill form, you can hide the pill inside a piece of cheese and the cat will gobble the cheese quickly and get its' meds without even knowing. If it in a tube, simular looking to a toothpaste tube as some vitimins and minerals are; you can actually put a small amount on one of the cats front paws, and they will basically groom it off of their paw and get their medicine with no mess and no fuss. If it is in pill form they have a special pill holder that you can buy and you can put the pill in it and hold the cat at the back of the head so that it will have it's head up and then you just stick the pill pusher in it's mouth and the cat will swallow it. If it is liquid you can draw it up in a dropper or syringe and hold the cat the same way and put it in the side of it's mouth and the cat will swallow.

If it's a pill you shove it into a treat and feed the treat to the cat. If it's a liquid you mix it into their food. I've had 3 cats in my life and one of these two methods have always worked.

If it's a pill then get one of those pill "plungers". I had to use one and I'm so glad I did! All you do is pry open their mouth and place the "plunger" in the mouth but not too far back and push the plunger and the pill should go down the throat. You may also want to hold the jaw shut for a second or two to make sure they swallow it.

If it's in pill form, you have to put it in the cat's mouth, then hold its mouth shut and lightly stroke its throat to encourage it to swallow. You may find it easier to "hide" the pill inside a piece of soft cheese, or other food the cat thinks of as a treat. If the med is in liquid form, insert the dropper as far back in the mouth as possible, and bombs away!

That depends if it is a liquid or a pill for a liquid just have someone hold him/her and then gently lift open thier mouth and squrit it in for a pill you can put it in tuna or something they really like or you can just use the same methed as above just GENTLY hold thier mouth closed until you feel them swollow it. And dont crush it unless you asked your vet if it would be ok to do so.

are you able to placed it in foodstuff? If no longer, you could continuously attempt wrapping him on a towel like some people recommend. or you ought to kneel on the floor and sit down the cat dealing with faraway from you between your legs. carry down his the front paws with one hand, and use the different to carry close his acceptable jaw and carry it up and again. His mouth may might want to open, and your girlfriend and may squirt the medication down his throat. Stroking his throat will encourage him to swallow. it is the tactic we continuously use for paying for our cat to take a pill. If he runs away even as he sees the medication, then only go away it in yet another room. grab the kitty, sit down him down like I said, and get your girlfriend to retrieve the medication and are available in even as he's been captured.
