Hell is not a place of torment. Do you really think that our Creator who is called a God of love in the Bible would torture imperfect humans? Answer this---if you knew someone who burned alive a friend of yours or even a close relative or they tortured them endlessly for a week or even a day, how would you feel about that person? Would you love that person? Would you have any respect for them? Well, that is how Satan the devil wants people to think about God. He wants to make God seem to be a cruel, unloving tyrant. The hellfire doctrine is a lie started by Christendom. The Bible tells us that hell is where the dead are laid to rest. All who die go to hell (grave).
Did you know that hell will soon be done away with--yes, hell will be a thing of the past. At Revelation 20:13,14 promises us_"And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death."
Death will bo no more and hell will be no more for without death, there will be no need for hell (graves) Does this not make sense?
God is love and we can be assured that he is not merciless or sadistic like the churches of Christendom make him out to be. When people say that God tortures humans, it makes Satan very happy. We need to prove Satan a liar.

You sound like you want to go to there!
The Bible gives us some very clear indications of what hell is. For one thing, you (assuming you go there, but I hope not) will not burn. The Bible says that hell is utter darkness, so how can there be fire there? Then hell would have light. The answer is that the fire and burning is figurative for the judgment of God.
When the Bible talks about weeping and gnashing of teeth, it is referring to the hell of hell if you will: Knowing that you have no one to blame for being there but yourself, knowing that you could have avoided it if you had made different choices while on earth.
Hell is also a place completely devoid of God, which means no love, light, peace or hope.
As for whether you can talk to Satan, the Bible doesn't speak to that as far as I know, but if you go there you will be there forever, so I'm sure you'll get a chance to talk to old slewfoot if you really want to.
Some of the books by Lee Strobel address hell more specifically. He is a journalist and former atheist. I love his books because they are very intellectual, not the "I love Jesus so I love you even if you hate me" type of stuff.
Good luck, in heaven or hell.

This is one question that I do not believe you are going to be able to get a real serious first hand answer on. I really hope that you do not want to find this answer out for yourself with first hand experience. I have heard along time ago in bible class that some people believe that hell is actually the core of the earth. I have also heard that hell is hotter than the blue flame for a lighter or match. I would reccommend wondering if the streets of heaven are 24k gold and how big the pearls are on the gates of heaven.

Christians should wonder why the authors of the Old Testament -- Jews -- have never believed in a place of eternal suffering.
And why -- in Greek mythology (think: PAUL's prejudices) -- there was a fiery place of forever torment called Hades -- which became a part of the New Testament after Paul took charge of all the NT writings.
References popularly interpreted as "hell" in the OT were and are intentionally tampered with to match Paul's belief in that part of Greek mythology.
Hell is a lie.

Yes. I think hell has maximum cells, minimum cells, etc. Satan would probably be off limits for 1000 years according to the Bible. He then is released again for a short time to decieve for a very short time and then thrown back in forever. Demons would get worse treament than humans. Hell was originally built for fallen angels and God had no intention of putting people in there. No one really knows what hell will be like.

Hell is a place of pain and turmoil, and the abode of Satan and the forces of evil; where sinners suffer eternal punishment. How can one want to walk around with all this going on and meet people? Wouldn't this hurt if you had feelings? Anyway, I tried to answer this.

the wicked will be punished. (2 Thess. 1:9). Genesis 2:16, 17, which shows that the penalty for sin is death. And by his sin, Adam caused the entire human race to be born as sinners. (Rom. 5:12) But God said nothing about being punished in hellfire. Now, ask yourself this question "If Adam and Eve were in danger of being tormented forever, would it not have been fair to warn them of that?” Genesis 3:19, where sentence was pronounced after their sin but nothing was said about hellfire. Instead, Adam was told that he would return to the dust. We might ask, “Would it have been fair to tell Adam that he would go back to the ground if he was really going to a fiery hell?”

The Bible teaches that hell is a place where you will have an indestructible body that will be able to feel pain that will burn forever be totally alone and the worst part is without God to grant mercy forever and ever. When people say they will be with their friends they are deceived.

It's probably very large considering all the people who have gone to hell. And I don't think the people who are burning will really care to talk much. And Satan is probably busy recruiting more people, not the people who are already there.

Heaven and hell starts right here right now. What hell is to me is not living in love. plain and simple! If you love and respect all people no matter what the nationality, race, color etc and love yourself there is not hell to go to. If you choose to live a life of hate, anger and unforgiveness then hell is real.
