I don't know if you are male or female. But either way, when you're going in or out to a store or something and you see them, try waving or saying "hey." Try being cordial. One of them came to your door, and asked about getting the ball back, so I assume they might be cool people, because they didn't try to get the ball back by any other means. You're not trying to be their friend, you just need to be cordial, as if you were just greeting a neighbor. I'm sure they didn't try to kick the ball at your window, and it probably took some courage to come up and ask for the ball. Just stay calm, and try being cordial. See if that works. Good Luck!

Move.

There are agencies that can help you find another place to live. Your health is not worth your staying where you are uncomfortable.

I would also look into counseling. You may be nervous and afraid to the point where natural impetuousness in youth looks like a negative in your mind.

If that's the worst thing that's happened, then I think you're ok. Find out from your neighbors, however, if they are seeing more serious problems, such as vandalism or violence. If these kinds are problems are going on, talk to your local police department and see about starting a Neighborhood Watch program.

MOVE...Living in a "ruff" hood sux move if you can. I would rather move to Oregon or Washington and live in a tent in the woods than live with hoodlums. I'de rather live with the animals in the woods than in the hood.

concentrate on finding a quiet home out in the suburbs. if they're just playing soccer, then they're not out vandelizing people's property or assaulting passers-by. so they're probably no threat to you.
