If you hit the area hard enough you sure can. But if it's already broken and being treated it really needs to be in a supporting and protective brace or cast.

Well, it depends on how far along the healing is. It is NOT difficult to break an already-broken bone.

It may not be broken again, but it may have been jostled out of correct alignment.
