Cats can get colds or upper respiratory infections just like humans. Take her to the vet.

Cats do catch colds, and sometimes hairballs can make them cough too. But so to a lot more serious illnesses, so let a vet check and make sure.

Your cat need to see the veterinarian. She would need to be up to date on all her vaccinations and to get a physical exam done to make sure organ/systems are functioning properly. She may need some medication to help control this problem and its better to do it right away before it gets worse.

Take hwr to the vet, it could be a cold or it could be serious like cat lukiemia.

If she has fleas, I hear it could be choking on tapeworm larva or it could be allergies.
