Tell them to take you off there calling list. They just go by a list of names and numbers. They aren't going to stop unless you answer the phone and tell them you have no mortgage. GOOD LUCK!!

You should check your credit or ask the calling mortgage company. Could be identity theft!

Best case scenario: the clerk that put someone else's data into the bank's computer mistyped the number.
Worst case scenario: someone applied for mortgage and pretended to be you.

It's a scam just like the email scams people keep sending. Dont give out any personal information to these people.

It could be just a mistake or it could be ID theft.
You should pull a copy of all 3 of your credit reports and go over them.
If you order your free FACT-Act annual reports, only order them from the FTC sites.
