You're not outdated, but it's tougher for men to chase for too long without results (including, but not limited to, sex). The reason is it's too tiring, difficult, and expensive to devote the time. It's tough to pursue a career and keep up with today's pace.

Any guy worth his salt will treat you the movies, dinners, and buy you flowers. Just don't expect it indefinitely. Two to three movies, four to five dinners -- and then you should reward his affection in some way (not necessarily physically). Old fashion romance is dying, but it's not all the guy's fault. Societal pressures and demands weigh a guy down.

Nope, the right ones still like the chase, and if you are worth it they will. I am sure you are, but you have to show a little initiative. Some women today have become so darn independent that men have backed off, but you just make sure he knows that you are still old fashioned and you want him to do his job as a man. You still have a vagina, lol.

No you are not outdated. I wish I could find someone like that too. Writing love letters, the works. But now adays when a man or woman meet. they have sex. The newness is gone and it just jump in the bed and that is it.

Women classify men into one of three categories.....lover, footstool, and loser. Men who do the things you are talking about always are put into the footstool category. So the answer no way jose for any of those things.

I will typically only do stuff like that with a woman I've had a sexual relationship with for over a year or whom I'm living with.

My hubby does those things for me still... we've been together for 10 years. He sends flowers for no reason, calls during the day to say "I love you", leaves me surprises, sends me to the day spa...

It has nothing to do with the chase... he just loves to give me attention.

If that's what makes you feel special, then you just need to find a guy who is thoughtful & giving in that way. If he doesn't do those things without you asking for them, he's never going to.

Hell no. I think most women like that kind of attention. Makes us feel special and loved, or at least it's shows some kind of interest towards the female.

Don't worry about it, men like that still exist, they know how to treat females. :)
