Because he is trying to establish a monopoly over the whole religion gig.

God is the one who made the term, competition. Yet why should God compete since he already has it all. You were born as God's. WHy switch to the devil, the father of lies. THe devil competes to win our souls by having us scatter into denominations and religions, to get us away from the Truth that Christ has given us.

You're really pathetic!
God doesn't make deals because He offers Salvation for FREE!
He gave His only son to die on the cross so you can have a chance at life yet you would still prefer to make deals with the Devil who, when given an opportunity, will screw you?
Go ahead. Go with the Devil. Make your day!

You are a funny dude.
But seriously, you don't have to make a deal for peace, just live right.
Also, apart from "Faust," which is an excellent play BTW, where have you really heard of people making deals with the devil? Aren't they just rationalizing their own bad behavior? Isn't that really what that is?

The Devil doesn´t exist, it was created to put fear on people and get control over them.
You don´t have to make a deal with God, He always Is there, wheather you look for Him or not, He still will be there, even if you don´t want to admit it. He is part of the whole, and He is the whole.
The opposite of God is fear.

What kind of deals can you make with the devil? I've been trying to sell my soul for weeks. I'll take a million dollars, I'm not greedy. Hell, if God wants to give me more, let the bidding begin!

You *can* make a deal with God and here are the terms:
If you are Baptized in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, repent of your sins, and live a life of Faith where you confess your sins and do God's will, God will follow His end of the bargain and give you eternal life in Heaven.
It's a good deal. For one lifetime of effort you receive an eternity of reward. You should take Him up on His offer.

God offers you a free gift to save you soul and wants nothing in return. The devil wants you to forsake God and will promise you anything to get it (though he won't deliver in the end).
Those are the only terms He has. When we want to do everything on our terms, we get ourselves into trouble because we think we know more than Him. But guess what, God will bail us out for free.

God's pact is very simple, and it shows you what the true measure of wealth and happiness is all about. That is the point you seem to be missing. Deals with the devil don't usually pan out all that great (see Michael Jackson).

Its not possible to make deals with Satan or God. Thats what fiction stories are made of. That they have influence in your mind is something you cannot control other than to go against your nature. Not even the act of ceasing to think can remove them. Your trapped in choices forever, accept your fate, choose loveing others for betterment or worse, elevation to the next plain.
