If you knew everything, then you would know what is going to be. Why create an earth and see how it progresses if you already know the answer?

Can you create something too heavy for you to lift. See the logic?
Everything, EVERTING obeys the laws of the universe and god does not interfere with it. Cos he dont exist.

Who would give aids to a new born baby with no criminal record against the deity.

>>>If you knew everything, then you would know what is going to be. Why create an earth and see how it progresses if you already know the answer?<<<

It's up to us to produce the answer. It's up to us to show God that we mean to do what He wants.

It is not up to God, though, to show YOU anything, or to prove anything to you.

You either believe in Him, or you don't -- at your own spiritual risk.

>>>Can you create something too heavy for you to lift. See the logic?<<<

Of course, He could. But why would He? He has no reason to. He certainly has no reason to fall for your slick, smart-aleck rhetoric. (The whole "rock too heavy" question has been posted here many times, by the way. Who'd you steal it from?)

>>>Everything, EVERTING obeys the laws of the universe and god does not interfere with it. Cos he dont exist.<<<

What is your proof that He doesn't exist?

>>>Who would give aids to a new born baby with no criminal record<<<

Oh, I see. If something good happens, you think we humans did it and you don't give God any credit.

But if something bad happens, you immediately blame God. Or you conclude that He doesn't exist.

Of course, it doesn't occur to you that bad things (such as babies getting AIDS) are the result of a PERSON'S actions. Not God's.

Some people just don't want to take individual or collective responsibility for anything.

If human, animal and plant life can spring out of nowhere, since unless we are part of one big dream, this is all real, then why not a higher power? Just because you don't understand and see the full picture of something, does that make it wrong or unreal? How egotistical is that? God created all, because even though he knew all of the bad that was going to happen, better to have experienced the moments of love and laughter then to not have them at all. I know, when I play Maddan 2004 on the easy setting, with a team of players that I created with max attributes that I am going to win, but I enjoy racking up the stats. Now multiply that by a billion a billion times over, and you get a small sense of what God must have wanted.

*sigh

your right he dose know the out come but that is not the reason why he created us. Man kind was created because G-d has the desire to give. And what did he give to us? The free will to chose between good (growing closer to the creator and thus perfecting ones self) or the opposite which is going away from the creator and harming ones self.

he did not create the world for him self but rather so we have the ability to work towards our own perfection

as for the aids thing. that might be a challenge in someones life but you must realize to the theist that life dose not end at death.

There are loads of illnesses and disabilities which you really can't blame humans for, let's get that out of the way quickly. And the AIDS thing... you're asking 'why does the disease/method of transmission exist' rather than 'why does a particular baby get it', right? And if god's so fantastic (in the new sense of the word - I think she/he/it's fantastic as the dictionary defines it... look it up) why the tsunami... drought... and incidentally the Javan parasitic wasp?
This is a good philosophical question rather than a pathetic attack on any type of insecure people who hate being challenged when they start spouting fairy stories.

'Why I am not a Christian' by Bertrand Russell is a good place to start on your theological studies, also skepdic.com. Have fun.

God didn't do that we the human species did that now we must have the intention to do better once we know better. God is with us simply because we are his left arm ,can human civilisation really be a random that just happened , we are alone in the universe simply because we are an anomaly in the cosmic scheme of things,or perhaps we are the only ones in the universe because we are the most important things in it ? hope that gave you a smile anyway.

Because He HOPED we would choose a different path. Dear God, do you really think He hates us that much? This isn't His choice, THIS IS OURS. He is NOT the God of this world, Satan is, it says right there in the Bible. God will be the God of His Incoming New World Order which will last FOREVER. Then all those BABIES that died of AIDS, abortion, etc will be resurrected to Paradise on Earth like His prayer says "on Earth, as it is in Heaven." Or as Christ told the thief beside him, "I tell you this today, you will be with me in Paradise." Not Heaven, but Paradise, like Adam and Eve lost.

This is why Christ didn't hate abortionist (and yes, they had them in his time), or hate Rome (who occupied his country, Israel) while he was alive, or hate Gays, but Christ preached to look FORWARD to HIS INCOMING kingdom, and not to concern ourselves with this one. Any christian who is worried or "voting" for this system of government will be left out of Christs, since "he was no part of this world."

Since God is NOT from this Creation, but OUTSIDE of it, how can anything INSIDE this creation be too heavy for him, since He exists OUTSIDE? The laws of this Universe do not affect Him, He effects THEM.

So, "while He knows the End from the Beginning" we also have total free will and He will not "assume" to make it for you or you would not actually have it, would you?

I feel that no matter how I answer this it will be taken the wrong way. I'm just going to leave you with the truth that God knows so much more than any of us mere humans. Peace be with you

You obviously have no idea what you are talking about, and you don't want answers to your question neither. So go away and pretend that God isn't real, if you think that it'll make you feel better. Still one day you'll know the truth, lets hope it isn't too late.

You guys keep confusing what is physical with what is spiritual.

Who would give aids to a new born baby? Uhhh...his mother? See the logic?

2006-07-20 10:04:32 · answer #10 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

That is an illogical question that has no answer. It doesn't prove or disprove anything because the illogical nature of the question renders it meaningless. You might as well ask if you can have square circles and then say that that proves that squares and circles don't exist.
