Cal, short for Calico (sounds like he is one)
You could name him after your favorite character in a movie or TV show. I was watching "Chicago" around the time our outdoor cat came to live with us, so I named her Roxie (after Roxie Hart)...it's appropriate because this cat is also a killer (of mice, squirrels, etc).
