She will likely take a short one, maybe one or two weeks. Meanwhile the VicePrez will take over. A mother is always a mother, regardless of the position she holds. I guess the mother position supercedes all others.

I doubt it. Any woman who is that driven will probably work right up until when her water breaks. Also, I don't think any woman with a job like that would be stupid enough to get pregnant. Besides, you have to be 35 or older to run for president and most women are done having kids by then.

for starters you have to be 35 to be the president.. most woman are done having children by then. and if she did, how would it be any different then all the time the Pres spends at Camp David. If a male Pres has a baby born while in office, do they take paternity leave?

I do think that if we had a female prez and she got pregnant, then she would go on maternity leave. All of our presidents have taken vacation(many thru out their terms) why wouldn't a female take a vacation even tho maternity leave isn't really a vacation.

I wouldn't want a woman president with pms...emotional roller coaster...She sould already be old enough to have gained the wisdom and had the kids !
