Just found the old nursery rhyme book....memories....

There are 2 versions in this book..that was passed down over and over..in my family...

1. here we go around the mulberry bush, the mulberry bush, the mulberry bush..here we go around the mulberry bush..so early in the morning..

2. "Round the Mulberry Bush", Treasured Songs of Childhood .As long as the momorable songs of childhood remain a part of our hearts and minds, we can still return to the happy world that exists within our own private memories. the artist portrays three gleeful, laughing children singing and dancing around the flourishing mulberry bush. Of course, as the classic song goes, they must wash and hang their clothes early in the morning. But as energetic as this trio appears, they will surely have many more choruses to add. A dog playfully follows the wide-eyed girl in the forefront. This young lady had dark chestnut hair, straying from the usual innocense of the blond-tressed girls. Her fancy yellow dress with the ruffled white lace collar and pink and yellow flowers is set off by a pink satin sash and matching ribon holding back her long brown tresses. A boy in a salor suit with red tie happily waves and dances to the left of the bush, while a cute little curly-haired blond dances in her pink dress covered by a white apron. Once again, the artist uses his signature of feminity with the white stockings and black patent shoes.
