Yes,it has a simple and beautiful message.My children would be soothed by the song, like a lullaby. I also taught my grandson "God sees the little sparrow fall". People should try not be cynical.The children's hymns usually carry a message of hope.Even if you are an agnostic how can you say a song that offers hope and love is a bad song choice.Listen to some of the messages in some modern songs, but to each his own.

Many times. And yes, I did. Now they are teaching it to other children. And so the cycle of Faith Hope & Love continues in the beautiful fields of Redemption.

"Jesus loves me" is probably the first song I ever learned to sing, somewhere around age 2. I don't have children yet, but when I do I'll certainly teach it to them.

for the bible tells me so....
That one?.....I was taught it because I went to a christian day care when i was younger...dont have kids, but if i did im not sure If i would teach it to them....im not a very religious person now....dont know what i want/should beleive...so who knows how I will be when i have children of my own.

Yes, sang it many, many times in my life. But I have no children. My step son knows it very well though, but he's 21 now.

Of course! It's a sweet song. Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so. Yes, Jesus loves me, yes, Jesus loves me, Yes Jesus loves me, The Bible tells me so! This was comforting to me as a child and I taught it to my child. A child needs something to balance out all the negativity out there.

Yes, it was the first song I learned at Sunday school and one of the first songs I taught my children too.
Its a wonderful truth, for a child or anyone can know, is that they are loved by God.

Absolutely. It has a good tune that even the worst singer can sing without scaring the child to death. It also has a calming, beautiful message and the best is, it is a true story.
