Isis was worshipped in Egypt for at least three thousand years, and still has followers. Of course you actually believe Adam and Eve lived 6000 years ago and worshipped the god Jehovah, so your logic on the subject is in error from the get-go.

I think it's remarkable that a few thousand years ago there were people who thought that the Roman Empire would last forever and Jupiter would always rule from his mountain. Well, that didn't last, did it.
And the fact is (I read your details, but I need to hammer it home because your question is so silly) that the skeptics and atheists still abide as well.

Funny I still hear the skeptics and Atheists just as much as I here those that believe in God (if there is one). I still hear the words of the great historical thinkers and philosiphers that had lived prior to the "Word of God" being spread near and far. Seems that you really need to READ some other books besides the Bible. PEACE!

Ages? Wow you must be missing every class in school.
Every1 was prececuted by Christians at those your ages.( even now)
Ppl who were disagree or at least have an idea that this planet is not 4 corners or flat like you probably will defend right were tortured and burned.
Your whole story of genocidal god is based on fear that's why ppl were scared.
You probably would not know or hear by any chance of "dark ages" . Church and GOD are against education.
Only few hundred years ago ppl start talking again wihtout being afraid. And now less and less ppl belive this b/s. That's why Church is running scare now and crying to put Bible study in public school.
Too bad for you guys that education is taken over. Enough of your XXXrated book full of violence, genocide and rapes.
Stop scaring ppl with your unconditional love of evil.
Therefore GOD guide my hand to type all this. And if you don't belive it you go to hell.

Hi. I'm an athesitic skeptic. And I'm right here. The Word of God depends on people to be spread. He's so weak he hasn't shown up as a proof. Have you ever seen him? heard him? So why do you so sheepishly and blindly believe in him? What if he is a she? Where does it say God is a man? Is God human?
Every scientific achievement is a nail in the coffin of your God.
Have a nice life, blind sheep.

What makes you think skeptics and atheists are gone? What do you think of buddists, Satanists, Wiccans and Pagans. Not to mention if you specifically speak on the Christian religion and the word of Jesus, then you can include Jews and Muslims. Far more people don't believe in Jesus then do. Not only that but Judaism is far older then Christianity.
It is one thing to have faith. It is another thing to be blinded by it.

"Infidels of eighteen hundred years have been refuting and overthrowing this book, and yet it stands today as solid rock. Its circulation increases, and it is more loved and cherished and read today than ever before. Infidels, with all their assaults, make about as much impression on this book as a man with a tack hammer would on the Pyramids of Egypt."
"When the French monarch proposed the persecution of Christians in his dominion, an old statesman and warrior said to him, 'Sire, the church of God is an anvil that has worn out many hammers.' So the hammers of infidels have been pecking away at this book for ages, but the hammers are worn out, and the anvil still endures"

I'm an atheist and a skeptic. Trust me, we're not gone.
and the "word of god" continues to be exposed as the fraud that it is. That's why there are more and more of us every year, while your ranks shrink.
Reason always trumps mythology. And it always will. Without your greatest weapon; fear, your position becomes one of defending the indefensible.
It's a losing battle and you're on the wrong side.

kilthy, the book of the dead doesnt have ANY prophecys that come true, the bible has 300 in just Jesus alone. This is the proof that the christain God is really God....
I do kinda understand where atheist come from as sooo many people state that the bible is a collection of myths... sad that they never read for themselves to see if there was actually something to what is written there. I have seen for myself that what is written in the bible before hand, and being that we have the dead sea scrolls to place the age of what was written before it actually happened.....

THe Egyptian Book of the Dead still abides too... I guess by using your argument, that means it's Truth.
