This is something that started as a theory in the 50's and as a practice in 1975 with Jimmy Carter. He stopped the deportations of illegals. Then Reagan pardoned 2.7 million, which led to more coming over. Then in 2000, Bush sent agents to the border to tell everyone about his planned amnesty. 2000-2006 have had more people illegally enter than every before, perhaps of all time at the rate of 1 million legal, 3 million illegal, and 1 million turned away at the border.

Now, Bush needs as many Mexicans as he can get up here with the help of the Mexican government. His plan is, if enough illegals come, we can declare America has fallen and we have to adopt a new country with Mexico and Canada included. After all, the constitution is only a peice of paper, according to Bush. Now, since we can't get them out in his defeasted view, and with the Patriot Act reducing our rights, now Bush will say, hey, we gave it a shot America, but our country doesn't work. We've been invaded by Mexico and to win the war on terror you have to give up all your rights and suspend the constitution. It's the only way to save our selves if we let foriegn nationals govern us and our futures.

To Used & Abused: the Border Patrol is not understaffed. In the past 10-15 years, the number of patrolmen at the border has increased, but the number of illegals making it by the border has also increased. Doesn't really make sense, does it, but it's a fact.

So, if we just keep increasing the number of patrolmen down there, I don't see why the number of illegals entering will turn around and decrease...

Since the Civil Rights Era, traditional White America has had to cope with the realization that Blacks don't like their menial and cheap labour pool so they have circumvented the problem by importing, which is in the interest of most big businesses and garden, nanny, sewing and bus & delivery boys!

It started with the first Amnesty. Reagan was responsible for that one. Bush believes in open borders. No one has the balls to do anything about it. Remember the day without a Mexican?
I'd like to have a day without the American tax payer.

Really hot issue right now. My take is that there is a legal process for getting in to this country. If you use the legal process fine but if not then you need to go home and try again. I totally understand the committment to do what ever it takes to feed your family but we have families here too. Our government had to make previsions for starving children and so should yours.

Ok mister I think I am Mencia you need to quit now ok.

we would be the ones responsible for all the illegals. it's american corporations going into Mexico and causing a huge inflation on goods that force them to come over illegally to work and send money back, because due to the high amount of inflation, they would never break even if they stayed where they are from. blame big corporations...don't blame illegal aliens....also blame stingy americans that are too good to pay you a livable allowance, so they pick up cheap labor off the street. in the end, we're to blame...completely.

It will help if the government quit paying for medical care, schooling and a whole list of benefits. Why put up a border and then reward those who get past it?

Federally regulated structures are responsible. Local law enforcement does not have realistic ability. They arrest them, assign a court date, release them, and they don't show up for court. Local law enforcement should be held responsible for NOT fighting for it's ability. Federal and State governments should be held responsible for not enabling local law enforcement with immediate deporting ability.
We need another Ike!

Arrest and deport! Many of them would run for home, but I'd bet most would want that free federally funded transportation.
