This guy is married to my niece he is bad news, a deadbeat dad with like 8 kids from 3 different woman. he had her addicted to crack and now that she is off he has her addicted to pain pills. he had a growth on his pancreas that he told doctors in his hometown it was cancer and that he was in horrible pain well this doctor believed him because he did have a growth. so he prescribed him 750 oxycodone i have never heard of a doctor doing this and has been giving them to him on a monthly basis. he even gave him a new prescription when he told him his wife washed them in his pants a lie. He is selling them in the streets and is giving them to my niece. he has since went through an operation that removed and repaired his pancreas the growth was negative for cancer. but this doctor is still giving him those pills. What can i do? lost

don't go to the police, they will show up at his house to arrest him and 30/70 chance your niece could get caught in the crossfire.
also there is no such thing as anonymous when it comes to the police. they trace your number, record your voice and will want you to testify.
if you know the doctors name and can get his address you would be better served to send HIM an anonymous letter telling him the truth about your niece's husband.
hang in there and remember, people on drugs can be very irrational and dangerous.
and whatever you do, don't expect your niece to thank you.

Report him to the physician. The physician sounds pretty shady himself though........................I mean what doctor writes a Rx for that many pain killers without follow up testing. So you can always report the doctor the state medical board. Go on google put in the state you live and then put medical board, along with whatever specialty he is. They will investigate the circumstances and make sure the doctor is not doing this on a regular basis.
I know I wouldn' t want a doctor in my neighborhood doing this. But at first give him/her the opportunity to correct the situation. You can call the office and make a anonymous tip. Good luck.

You tell the authorities. Every state has a drug enforcement division. Call your local police and ask for someone in the drug enforcement division. Then explain the situation to them. They can take over from there.

Good for you for wanting this loser off the streets!

either send an anonymous letter to the docs reporting him or ring the police.who knows what damage he is doing to vulnerable people, even kids?he shouldn't be allowed to do this.you would be doing a good and sensible act.you dont need to give your name or details to anyone
