I say Yes, Yes, Yes! Please read. Sense the days of Jesus, (Whether you believe he is the Son of God or not, it is a fact of history that he walked the earth) the Jews have been under constant attack and persecution. They have every right to defend themselves from these attacks. Now that Israel is once again a Jewish Nation, many militant groups and other countries seek to destroy them. Lebanon (neighboring Israel) has been supporting Hezbollah by housing them and allowing them to use borders to attack Israel. Israel has the right to defend itself. Israel has given the people of Lebanon plenty of forewarning of the attacks so they could evacuate and escape the oncoming destruction. Lebanon is blaming everyone they can accept Hezbollah, who is the real blame for bringing on the attacks to their country. Instead they embrace Hezbollah and want more attacks on Israel. This is just a small piece of what is to come.

There’s a lot of blame on the US from other nations because we only stand by and watch a brothering country protect itself. These militant groups are against Israel and the US and they want to see us all destroyed. People see these militants as honorable worriers, but they are nothing but (what we like to call) terrorist; trying to destroy the free world. If the fighting stops now, it will bring on and even bigger onslaught; a retaliation that could easily bring the entire word to war. There will be no piece as long as militants are out to destroy the peaceful world. In their religion, that is what their purpose is to do on this earth. The bigger problem lies in Syria, Iran and North Korea. They are planning something big, anyone that watches CNN once in a while can see that. What’s even scarier is that they all have the backing of Russia and China; how far will that back go?

I hope and pray for Peace, but with militia trying to tare down the peaceful nations, I fear there’s no chance at peace. We have no choice but to fight our enemies!

The rest of the world is not going to put up with religious reasons for us supporting Israel’s war. It is important that we keep our faith, but stick with the situations at hand and handle it as if it were any other brothering nation to the US. For these reasons give us ground at the UN and with other nations. Israel is our friend and a peace seeking nation. As long as their decisions are sane (and I believe they will be); we will support them.

The existence of the state of Israel is a fulfillment of Bible Prophecy. I would not want to be on the wrong side of God by not supporting it.

The fact is that Israel needs to move its borders to internationally recognized laws. Israel had a right to defend itself, but its attacks have been disappropriate on southern Lebanon and on the civilian people. There must be a cease-fire. Israel is no longer the chosen people of God in the old covenant. Christians are the fulfillment in the new covenent.

The Palestinians ruled that place longer than the Jews. It is their land. You Christian fanatics need to let go of supporting Israel. The Israelis are terrorists and killing thousands of innocent civilians. You cannot see that you must be blind. I am talking as a person who has compassion and mercy to any innocent people, men, women, children. You extreme Christians seems like you have no compassion and peace. Contrary to what Jesus and the Bible taught you. "Blessed are the Peace makers", "Love your enemy". I guess you delete all that and look at other passages where it says the "Lord is a man of war." Trust me in this Israeli scenario there is no eye for an eye. Who kills 300+ civilians all because a captured soldier...only terrorists.

From the Christian perspective, it is absolutely necessary that we support Israel. After WWII, the primary reason that the allied leaders cynically set up Israel was because they saw it as a essential step in setting up the conditions necessary for events to march on toward fulfilment of biblical prophecy... the rebuilding of the temple... the gathering of all the Jews from all over the world... and then god destroying the temple and annihilating all of the Jews who do not accept Jesus as their personal Savior. Then, the end of the world.

As I Jew I will tell you strait out Israel should not be supported because of any biblical promise or reason.

It should be supported because it is the only stable Democracy in the Middle East and a close military, political and financial ally of the United States.

For Israel? It's more like for Christianity. The idea behind standing by and watching is to allow the conflict to continue until both sides sufficiently weaken...then it'll be ONWARD CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS. That's why the US plays both sides...mostly Israel, but both sides. Israel and the Arab are being manipulated for the greater good of Christianity. If they don't wake up and realize this I fear for the survival of humanity. PEACE!

Yes, if for no other reason than remembering the ancient promise God made to Abraham..."I will bless those who bless you and i will curse those who curse you." This is one reason America has stood so long as a favored nation. When the first Jews emigrated here, their "Jewishness" was seen as a race as well as a religion, thereby offering them asylum and guaranteeing them the rights (of citizenship) to worship God as they saw fit.

Yes, we should support Israel... but not for any religious reasons. Simply because they are the underdog and have gone thru hell for millennia. They are completely surrounded by enemies who obviously don't give a crap what happens, even to their own people. So, I say we keep supporting Israel.

Perhaps the time of the Gentiles is coming to an end?
The world is starting to come to an end?
I think signs of these are in Jesus' prophecies about storms and armies around Jerusalem.
