None of that slapping in the head, "your healed, walk again" business either.

That's the only kind there is. Delusions are more palatable when they come with that sort of stage show.

Yes, I'm glad you asked. 30 years ago June I joined a movement called the Charismatic Renewal. It changed my whole life. I became "Baptized in the Holy Spirit" and learned to fellowship with God first as a Friend to Jesus and then later as a child of the great king.

Recently I have been renewed in that walk, in what I am going to call a "Prayer Revival" . I have learned a new format of prayer called a "Harp and Bowl" model and my walk with God has changed to a higher level of Preparing for the Bridegroom(Jesus).

Yes, I have, I drank everyday almost for the past 16 years, skipping maybe a few days every 3 weeks or so, maybe, I lost everything, couldn't hold a job, hurt people, and depended on alcohol totally, The Lord came into my life, and I asked for forgiveness, and accepted the Lord as my saviour, I lost the taste for alcohol completely, got a good job, and now go to Church, and I feel the Lord close to me guiding me with the Holy Spirit everyday, The Lord loves us all, and waits patiently for us to come to receive the gift, he so graciously gave us, of eternal life and peace and LOVE above all.

yeah, I have had a spiritual reawakening, and I have also seen them happen. its really neat, you know, to see somone finially take their faith seriously. I didn't, but when I was 12, I began to realize that, and now, i know I have a religious vocation (yay) thats the best kind of lilfe I ca think of, to live it for my heavenly father. i have also seen ohters lose their faith, my lder sister as an example. she ran away 3 years ago because she didn't like our families morals, and now she is bisexual, drinks does drugs and birth control. I know alot of people do it, but its a lot different when your only older sister does, epescially when you guys were really close. now, I'm sixteen and she still hasn't changed, for the better that is...well, I hope you have witnessed, and/or experienced an awakening to the faith too!

:)

I've had a couple of instances. One instance was a few days ago, I was at work extremely depressed because everything seemed to be falling apart in my life, like I was losing my life. I really felt like everyone was pointing at me and saying "You lose." I kept saying to myself all day "You lose, Anna.". I try to do nothing but good, yet it seemed like I was suffering for it, while everyone else was doing wonderfully. Felt like I was getting walked over by everyone and life itself. But while at work, wallowing in my self-pity and worry, I noticed two young girls come in wearing orange shirts with some black writing on the back. Their orange shirts grabbed my attention, because 1) there was nothing else more amusing to look at and 2) they seemed like Halloween shirts in the middle of July, which was odd.

The writing on the back of the shirts said, “Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake (Jesus) will find it.” - Matthew 10:39. Either that or “He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake (Jesus) will find it.” - Matthew 10:39. It’s pretty much the same phrase in all versions of the bible. The shirt had graphic emphasis on the lose and loses. Then on the front of the shirts, it said LUZER. Obviously these girls were from a Christian school or group or something, but how ironic was that for me. Here I am literally saying to myself how I feel like “I lose.” and these shirts come, pretty much saying that it’s ok. It’s ok to be a loser! And that there is hope. I started to really tear up, because I honestly felt like I was meant to see those shirts, as if those shirts were put there just for me. That proverb also had more than one meaning relating to my problems. It was overwhelming and honestly a little comforting. If I ever needed a sign that everything will be ok, that one was literally a slap in the face. An extreme spiritual wake-up call.

Most of the time a spiritual awakening is a quiet assurance that speaks to your soul. It lets you know that God knows you and your talents, wants and needs. Your witness is individual and personal. Good luck on your quest...

I believe I am now, that I am a part of it . . . I see more and more people every day learning how to better find the truth, stepping away from dogma, and using their own god-given reason and judgement to decide their own fate and create their own reality.

Yes, I was in a large stadium and they brought out the body and bloo dsoul and divinity of chirst in a golden monstrance (a display case made of gold and gems.)

People cried and Jesus reawakened their souls in the extreme. You should go to exposition/benediction sometime to see JESUS in the flesh.
