Chewbacca is a beautiful example of another branch on the tree. WAY over on that side! ;0)

No, of course not. Chewbacca is an alien from another planet "in a galaxy far, far away" in the science fiction movie series Star Wars. With respect to creationism and science, Chewbacca is not evidence for or against anything at all.

If you remember when Luke Skywalker recieved his medal at the end of Star Wars Episode IV, there were thousands of live eye witnesses. Not to mention the many millions of people who witnessed this in the Theaters. Also there were many prophesies made in Star Wars Episode 1 which came true later Episodes of the Series. This proves beyond question that Chewbacca Exists. Also If the Force is not real How did Luke blow up the Death Star!!!

I hate to break this to you, but Chewbacca is a fictional character (grin). And I think he is supposed to be of canine descent (based on his teeth and facial structure) rather than a primate. So he would not be a direct relative of Earth Humans, although he is a humanoid. (As are most live-action aliens, because most actors have 2 arms , 2 legs, a head...)

However, I do think there might be life on other planets. That might disprove geocentricism (belief that Earth is the center of the universe) but not necessarily Creationism because the Creationists would simply argue that God created Wookies as well as Humans. (Actually, a Human named Lucas created Wookies, with help from the make-up dept.)

From a Jewish POV, finding intelligent life on other planets would not challenge my belief in God. Jews do not believe the "image of god" means a physical humanoid body -- it is a spiritual "likeness" of godly attributes such as truth, justice, kindness, forgiveness, etc. And the Jewish liturgy God is called "Reebon kol ha-olamim" -- "Ruler of all the Worlds" -- PLURAL -- which can either be read as spiritual worlds or other planets. If there is life on other planets, then God would probably give them their own teaching stories based on the lifeforms of their own planet.

Chewbacca is proof that you shouldn't discriminate, because even someone that doesn't look the same or speak the same language can save your life from time to time.

Thanks for the query, you know everytime an evolutionist unearthes a human skullton, he tags it as a missing link.

You migt be knowing the scandals of piltdown man, actually evolutionists will go anywhere to prove that evolution is truth but facts say it is a myth..

Mm, Chewbacca disproves many things. Too bad he isn't real.
