Take the salt shaker off the table, and out of your reach.

Season with other spices. Use more pepper. Experiment with using other spices when cooking. After a while, say a month, you will find you can get by with just a little or none at all.

I actually have tried a product called " Salt Substitute" by Morton Salt. It is for a salt free diet.... It's not bad, give it a shot, and good luck.

well if you can't rinse it off, or dilute it another way, then throw it out. it really depends what you put your salt on. is it soup? sandwich? corn on the cob?
