As an agnostic does not believe there is sufficient information to conclude the existence or non-existence of god, are they also unable to decide on the existence or non-existence of the Easter Bunny?

To devlsadvoct:
Well what is this sufficient evidence then, and how does it differ from the "evidence" for or against god?
P.s. this post was not meant to be instulting.

To Holy Kenny:
So that's it? That is the extent of your reasoning?
Because no one preaches it you can assume there is no easter bunny?

To JAT:
I am an atheist. I do not believe in god BECAUSE there is no evidence.
Just as I don't believe in the easter bunny because there is no evidence.

I will take your Ad Hominen rebutal to validate that you are dishonest in your reasoning behind why you choose to not decide about god and choose not to believe in the easter bunny. I.e. You are a pussy.

That's right, d_chino_m! You can never be too sure that the Easter Bunny is or isn't real. There are quite a few possibilities out there and, I have to admit, I kind like the furry little guy.
Of course, there's also the possibility that there USED to be an Easter Bunny... See, I remember my dad shooting this bright pink bunny not long before Easter time in the 1980's that we cleaned and ate. A bit gamey, but tasted just like chicken!
So... just in case that was him, SORRY FOLKS! No more pagan fertility symbols hidden around your house anymore other than the ones you put there yourselves.

Being a gnostic, and not an agnostic, I still feel like I must chime in on this with a story.
I was sitting in a restaurant, public place, with my daughter who was oh about 11 years old at the time. And the topic of Santa Claus came up. She quickly dismissed it with "I haven't believed in him for years. I knew it was your boot marks in the fireplace and your writing on the note I left with the cookies."
I don't know, I was feeling kind of crushed. But I kept my lip from trembling too much (comes from having a Pisces moon, I think.) Anyway, she continued, " Yeah, the Easter Bunny thing was you too. Rhyming clues in the plastic eggs. Who else would have done that?"
I admit, I was kind of proud of the clues I left that led her all around our apartment looking for each plastic egg until finally the giant stuffed rabbit she still had. It was getting just too much, her sophisticated 11 year old ways. I was truly as near to tears as a good daddy could be.
"Oh," I said, trying to think of something wise and cheerful. "Oh, okay. Guess that was silly. No need for that anymore. Sorry." I turned away and pretended to clean my glasses. I felt her hand on my arm.
"Ah Dad?" she said. "I still believe...in the Birthday Iguana!"
Just a little story I thought you might like. I too believe in the Birthday Iguana (and sometimes The Flying Spaghetti Monster).

Perhaps they are. And judging from your question I'd say you don't need "sufficient information" in order to believe in God. Is this the same criteria you used to arrive at your belief in the Easter Bunny? And if not, why not?

main difference here being there's no Church of the Easter Bunny or people knocking on my door asking me if I know that the Easter Bunny died for my sins. Nice try, but get a clue first next time.

Most agnostics I know find the Easter Bunny to be an absurd idea. However they strongly believe in the Yeti.

As a matter of fact, some of us believe God and the Easter Bunny may be (or non-be) the same.

What, are you 4 years old???
I'm agnostic and I think there is sufficient information to conclude that you don't have a friggin clue what you are talking about.
Agnosticism is not about being indecisive, dumbass.

Aww, come on, leave the agnostics alone. They're not the ones holding back progress and trying to shove agnosticism down your throat. It's a logical enough stance.
