David had a garden that was absolutely beautiful. In it, he grew the most perfect tomatoes that you have ever seen! One day, Paul came along and planted cucumbers right in the middle of David's garden. When the cucumbers started sprouting, Paul told everyone that the tomatoes were the root of his cucumbers. In other words, that the cucumbers had developed from the tomatoes, and were the natural result of the tomatoes.

it can be metephorical in a lot of diff interpertations. the way i look at it is why was paul in davids garden in the first place. whos to say david did not steal the land from paul and paul was comming back to reclaim it. this story reminds me of the middle east conflict but i would have to say there was more to the story then that!
