No. It's a simple matter of physics. You could not expend enough energy to get any significant speed out of a car for any extended period. Remember Force (the work you would have to do peddling) must equal the mass (how much the car weighs) times (X) the acceleration (how fast).

Now no when I was 4 yes b/c i was to young to use a real car. The "basic" point of a car is to get you from A to B with ease. pedaling is not what I call ease.
