My little 12-year-old sister wants some money to buy a cell phone. Could I have some ways that she could earn some money?

did you ever stop and ask yourself what a 12 year old needs with a cellphone? that is unheard of. if i had asked for a cellphone when i was 12, i would be laughed at. that doesn't make any sense. i'm sure there are other more age appropriate things that she can ask for other than a cellphone. then again, it depends on how old you are for you to even consider thinking that this is ok for you to do. tell her to think of something else to ask for money for.

Twelve-year-olds do not need cell phones, because they shouldn't be in places or situations where one would be needed in an emergency (the only possible justification for a cell phone at her age).
Until then, she should use the house phone.

First of all, for a kid that young it should be prepaid. Cut lawns in the neighborhood? Get a paperroute? Grocery shop for the elderly? I have a friend whose daughter does the last one - she has an ad in the weekly ad circular and makes a lot of money going to the grocery store for people who can't make it there themselves - of course, how well this work depends on how self-contained your area is.

Chores, and lots of them. You did not mention your age, but if you are still living at home, and have some extra cash pay her to clean up your room, do your chores, or anything else (within reason)

baby sitting, dog walking,chores,asking for a raise in allowance,anything have her brain storm but heres the thing you need to explain to her that she is going to have to pay for minutes or just buy a plan i asked for a cell phon from my mom and dad and they explained it all to me so you need to tell her about it
