I know there is a recipe that calls for cubed hashbrown potato and sour cream, cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, cheddar cheese, and some butter & crackers or corn flakes for the top.... anyone know how much of everything and what temp & how long to bake ??

no...sorry...but that sounds SO GOOD! it's liked filled with all my favorite foods that I can't have cuz i'm on a diet...HASHBROWN and CREAM and CHEESE and of course BUTTER! i think i'm gonna quit my diet cuz of you! lol

This one from Recipezaar has everything you mentioned except the cream cheese.

Hash Brown Casserole Recipe #2717

1 (2 lb) package plain hash browns, thawed
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
1 pint sour cream
1 can cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken, if you prefer)
2/3 cup onions, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1/2 cup green bell peppers, chopped
1/2 cup red bell peppers, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups corn flakes, crushed (or potato chips)

4 servings Change size or US/metric
Change to: servings US Metric

50 minutes 10 mins prep
Saute onion, bell peppers and celery in butter until soft. Mix all ingredients except cornflakes and spread into an oiled baking dish.
Top with cornflakes.
Bake 40 minutes at 350 F.

1 bag of frozen hashbrowns
1 can cream of potato soup
1 can of cream of chicken soup
4 oz sour cream
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup of crushed ritz crackers
1/2 stick of butter (cut into cubes

Mix hashbrowns, soups, sour cream and cheese in a large bowl. put in a buttered casserole dish. sprinkle cracker crumbs over the top and top with butter. Bake at 350 until cracker top is golden brown and casserole and bubbly.

This casserole is awesome. goes really good with chicken.

HASH BROWN POTATO CASSEROLE
---------------------------

1 stick butter, melted
1 c. sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. chopped onion
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 (2 lb.) bag frozen hash brown potatoes (thawed a little)

Combine butter, sour cream, soup, onions, and cheese in a
large mixing bowl. Add potatoes; mix together well and put
into 2 greased casserole dishes. Bake at 350 degrees for 45
minutes to 1 hour. This may be topped with crushed corn
flakes and butter. Freezes well.

here is my recipe fer hash brown bake

1 2 pound bag hash browns with onions an peppers
1 8 oz pkg fresh mushrooms sliced
8 oz cream cheese
16 oz sour cream
can of cream of mushroom soup
1/2 can milk or cream
sharp cheese. grated
1/2 c buttery cracker crumbs
2 T melted margarine

mix potatoes an mushrooms in 13x9 pan nuke cream cheese fer bout 30 sec to soften. mix with sour cream... stir into potatoes an mushrooms mix mushroom soup an milk add cheese make a layers on top of taters.. mix crackers an margarine layer on top bake 350 fer 45 - 55 min til hot am bubbly an startin to brown...... let sit bout 10 min befer servin....... i lov this with baked chicken

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon dried dill weed
2 cups finely shredded Cheddar cheese
2 pinches paprika

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Combine the potatoes, potato soup, celery soup, sour cream, milk, onion, salt, pepper and dill weed. Stir until well mixed; pour into prepared baking dish.
Spread cheese evenly over potatoes, sprinkle with paprika and bake for 1-1/2 hours until browned on top and bubbly.

I don't, but YUUUMMM! Go to Meals dot com, and I think you can even search the recipes by ingredient if you'd like. I have tried several recipes that I have found there, and been very happy with them all. Good luck! Sounds delicious!

It is a breakfast casserole and is made with a bag of those frozen "Potatoes O'Brian." Deeeelish!! There are a million recipes, just plug in "breakfast casserole.," and pick one you like. ( I hate it when people just cut and paste answers to my question.)
